Farzi Cafè food was a pleasant surprise. I liked the pairing of traditional Indian flavors with high quality ingredients to create somewhat innovative dishes. The lamb chops were absolutely outstanding and the tandoori prawn were delicious as well. Perhaps the Dal Makhani were a Little bit of a let down, but it may well be that dish would seat better with someone who has an acquired taste for it. The dessert menu was not worth any attention, a big miss in my opinion for a place like this.
The service was cordial and precise, perhaps a tad too precise.. at a point I felt I was being questioned on my order like in a test.. but that was more a laughing opportunity than anything else.
The place is nice in a great location. However, the place ends up being quite loud, especially in peak hours, so prepare for some noise. Also it is a relatively small restaurant in a single room, don't expect for any privacy and I would not recommend for an intimate gathering.
Awesomely well crafted Indian fusion food that stands to its taste and reputation. Seattle long deserved such a tribute to fine Indian dining and finally has one. No wonder the place is receiving amazing reviews and has so far been able to 'hold-up' to the expectations from the brand and product Farzi.
Parking is ample at the common parking lot towards the back of the restaurant. Reserving a table is all online and do ensure you have one reserved before you get there.
Food is pricey, and quantities are becoming of a Michelin star restaurant but the experience and experimentation with food is amazing. We loved the entres more than the main courses. They were more well prepared with a lot more attention to detail. The main courses were just basic like most other places.
The parle-G cheese cake was nice
Definitely worth a visit!
It's pretty amazing, their service is very fast and decore, presentations everything is upscale . A bit noisy and pretty packed. Difficult to get place if you didn't book a table prior with a 15$ per person fee. That booking amount will automatically come back to your account when you finished dine in . I felt the menu is pretty short. And the portions are less. But full marks to taste and presentations
Good service but not a fan of the food. They do have interesting fusion dishes but nothing really exceptional. Been there on a couple of different occasions and tried out a variety of items. Good, quick service.
Lamb shank wasn't hot. Salmon was overcooked (well done) despite warning it may be rare inside, not. Nan arrived last instead of first. Music too loud. Great shrimp appetizer no longer on menu.
Amicable waiter. Creativity is there. Execution 4/5. Removing one star since better visit last time, sorry.
Our visit to Farzi Cafe provided a diverse culinary experience. The French 74 and Boost Juice were delightful choices, offering unique flavors to start. Among the small plates, the Cheese Burst Chicken Tikka was good, though not outstanding, while the Prawnstar stood out as a commendable option. Moving on to the larger plate, the Lamb Shank Korma offered an above-average but not exceptional taste. For dessert, we indulged in the Parle-G cheesecake, which was good, although we noted that the price was on the higher side. Despite varying impressions on dishes, we found the restaurant's ambiance, service, and overall presentation to be quite enjoyable. While portions suited us well as a duo, those with heartier appetites may find them a bit modest.
Good ambience, great service and decent food… most of their dishes were good yet felt like it wasn’t worth the price or didn’t do justice to the description. The little trick they had on paneer Kulcha appetizer was pretty cool though. This is more like a 3.5 than a 3 though..
Here’s what we ordered and how we felt:
Mango lassi - 4/5
Jaan paan - 3.5/5
Tandoori roti - 3.5/5
Lacha/ chilly ajwain paratha - 3.5/5
Croissant with chicken chettinaad - 3/5
Spinach kofta - 3/5 (gravy was sweet)
Paneer sourdough Kulcha - 5/5 (this was our most favorite)
Bun intended - 4/5
Jackfruit biryani - 3.5/5
Cheeseburst chicken tikka - 3/5
